LPR STATUS PAGE

The LPR database is

UP

On August 24^th 2011 a major software and hardware upgrade was completed.

As a result, the old icon for the BOSS database will no longer work. Users will need to download the new icon at the following locations.

Fortclient/VPN users

· Login/activate the Fortinet VPN client

· Open Internet Explorer and enter http://172.22.32.148:32023/publish.htm

· A login button should be present, if not see your local IT contact

· Click login, you may be prompted to install the new software, click Install

· The server will download the new Boss 3.06 Smart client

· After a few moments the BOSS login box will appear

· Users will now have 2 icons on their desktop, the correct one to use is Boss.ui-1 or Boss.ui-2

***for best performance the old Boss.ui should be removed***

If you are unable to run the utility, your system may require administrative rights,

Please see your system administrator or IT contact

CLEAR NETWORK/Hamilton County users

· Open Internet Explorer and enter http://vdc-lpr.ds.cinpd.rcc.org:32023/publish.htm

· A login button should be present, if not see your local IT contact

· Click login, you may be prompted to install the new software, click Install

· The server will download the new Boss 3.06 Smart client

· After a few moments the BOSS login box will appear

· Users will now have 2 icons on their desktop, the correct one to use is Boss.ui-1 or Boss.ui-2
